Hello from me

Hi, welcome to Aurora Wilde Photography. I thought a quick blog post about who I am and how this business came to be would be a nice way of introducing myself, instead of the awkward ice breakers.

I've been on and off photography since 2008. Heavily inspired by my dad, who spent a lot of time and money on Aviation photography around airports and RAF bases across the UK, my first camera was a Canon 350D. This is the camera that got me through 3 years of photography and media college too!

Life gets in the way though, as it often does, and I didn't really pick up a camera again until 2016. It was very sporadic since then, but I founded Aurora Wilde Photography in April 2024 after some huge life changes and I haven't looked back since!

I don't know how I fell into doing predominantly wedding photography- I often joke that because I didn't make it to my wedding, I'm now destined (or cursed!) to take photos of everyone else's. But I love doing it and capturing the emotions and moments of the day.

I don't know what else to write, without rambling on too much. I hope you enjoy my photography as much as I enjoy it!
